They played “Lucky You” tonight -_- Someone probably shouted "LUCKY YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. LET'S GOOOOOOO". Rookie mistake to not pull that move.

They just posted on Facebook that 2019 is not happening for the fest.

That's a shame, but I'm glad we're all going to that dumb one day Columbus thing instead now.

They’re probably just holding out for another year so they can market High Violet as an anniversary set.

I suppose that we probably could have guessed it wasn't coming back next year based on the fact that they hadn't posted anything on socials since the end of August. Was probably a solid first clue. I also don't feel like this sold amazingly well? I mean I got a 2 day on stubhub for $95 or so around a month before the fest.

Never truly felt packed and I think like 90% of fests don't make money their first year so I wouldn't be surprised if this was it.

cant believe the festival with the lineup of XRT bands that tour constantly didnt sell well at an astronically high price.

I don't think $130-$150 plus fees was unreasonable considering the acts that were a part of it.

You were paying to see one bad with a bunch of acts who would normally open for that band so your basically seeing if you can get 15k people to pay $150 to see the same band that tours connately play twice in Cincinnati

On the day that I went I saw 3 acts that I hadn't seen before (would've been 4 if my tix hadn't been fake and we got in for Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith), another was Feist who I hadn't seen since her P4k set, and the last was Big Thief. That's a pretty alright day.

Ours was the Bobby Flay burger joint in the casino but that was almost worth it for the hilarity of the whole thing.

I'm not saying you cant have fun im just saying they didnt really put the time or effort into making this a thing that is sustainable to do more than once

I don't know how you can determine that from one year of a fun festival with a bunch of unique collaborative elements.

I mean, to be clear, I blame Cincinnati and the fact that it closes at 10 P.M. first and foremost.

I would love to hang out with Mr. and Mrs. Teekoh just once without it ending in disappointment and desperation: we are 2/2 with Cincy and The Owl.
