Trying to think of what songs I still want to hear the most from them. Across six shows, I've seen: www.setlist.fm/songs/xamnam?artist=53d69b79Exile Vilify, obviously, but of stuff that's actually likely, Wasp Nest would probably make me cry. Cherry Tree would be high up there too. Also, it'll be my first time hearing any Sleep Well Beast tracks. Edit: City Middle would be wonderful.

It’s pretty exciting to me that both of these sets will probably be fairly unique from the Lolla one. It’ll be cool to see 3 unique National sets this year

I really need Geese of Beverly Road, it's been ages since I have seen them do that.

Yeah, as much I'd love to see them do Boxer in full, I've seen 8 of the 12 tracks live already. I've had the worst luck with Alligator tracks. I've only seen them do Mr. November, Abel and Secret Meeting across 5 shows.
So Geese and All the Wine are easily my top must-sees. They've played Abel all 5 times I've seen them (and 3 of those were semi-short festival or opening sets).

As long as I can finally see them do About Today after seeing them 5 times already I'll be happy.

As long as I can finally see them do About Today after seeing them 5 times already I'll be happy. I think your odds are good on that. I should have blindly decided to go to this without overthinking it. Now airfare is far from cheap. It's not going to happen.

Okay, you have me on the line.
Started looking into it and flights are $330, ticket is $200, then there's hotel, food and drink. We're talking $750 to see The National twice plus FJM (who I saw perfectly in the fall), Alvvays and Big Thief.
The only thing is The National is looking likely for ACL instead of the original string of Austin shows I was hoping for. And I'm probably going to be in Europe during ACL. I can already see it happening. They are announced on ACL and schedule Houston around it and I'm gone.
EDIT: fuck tickets are super cheap on stubhub

I think this just solved my problem. Two of my best friends live in LA and this is on a Thurs/Fri so this is super easy.

Feeling like I might end up in the park pretty early on Saturday because I would like to see the counterpoint performance. Have they said whether there are any ins/outs at this thing? Also is anyone else going in that early?

The Breeders are like the first act I really really need to see, but I'd be down for going right at open.

I don't even know what the entry situation is gonna be like but since it's a first year fest I'm gonna assume it won't be super smooth.

Hey mookie do you want mayochup for your birthday? If you combine that with Skyline chili, that may be the most disgusting substance ever found on earth
