Idk how to describe it but I just feel like they try too hard to be cool now. They have been trying too hard since at least the start of the Trump administration Like they've been a bad website for a while which made all the "critics" lamenting the end of Pitchfork last year when they fired anyone worth a shit that much funnier to me. Like we have no shared reality online anymore if they're considered a good website (or were). Like, there's 2 albums from 2019 in their "best of the decade so far" list. That's just dumb. The rest of the list looks fine. If Diamond Jubillee isn't #1 at the end of the year I will laugh |
