metal needs a vince staples to tell metal heads that sabbath is corny or something that already exists in multitudes, which actually makes the compartmentalization of metal even worse. |

Somehow related to both scoots and Wretcht's posts, my uber driver last night arrived in a big ass truck (no idk what kind, but the kind with a cab that has a front and back row of seats) blasting "Cumbersome" by Seven Mary Three and then "Breakdown" by Seether (yes I Shazamed.) He then tried to have a conversation with me but kept yelling "what??" and did not turn down the music until we arrived.
Did feel pretty cool arriving tho.

Had a cab driver over the weekend who picked up 3 other people dropped them off on the other side of the city all while ranting about how they were talking too loud. Than she proceeded to drive 90 down an interstate blasting the offspring and asking me questions I could in now way here other than the comment "I haven't slept in 3 days"
I had to send my location to my friend to make sure I survived.
I left a $3 tip

I am way too indecesive to pick out wall art. Everything is good but the only thing that has grabbed me is of course $3,500. I love it tho. Might buy a canvas and try to recreate it myself, painting for the first time in over a decade. |

I remember laughing when I read Lollapalooza was extended in grant park until 2016 thinking "I'll be 39 by then! #OLD" Being transparent, there's other part of it being a little pissy that you wasted most of your 30s on the wrong person and during that time, the other person you were interested in left the market. I guess it's making me think too much? Also, everyone: THANK YOU FOR THE BIRTHDAY WISHES! |

I'm just going to fly to Ukraine and wait in USA Departures for like 10 seconds. I'll come back with my new wife. (no I wouldn't do this but my buddy adopted two kids from there and was courted nonstop upon leaving his plane all the way to his cab. HE WAS ALSO WITH HIS WIFE!!) |

Our gallery wall has a picture of Anthony Davis drawn like a Frida Kahlo work and this: So yeah, all over the place, and it actually works out quite well. I really like these designs for cities that I've lived (LA, Chicago, Nashville, Detroit) just for the kitchen/entrance. I have this and this for the downstairs bathroom to make it "Iceland" theme but yeah outside of that don't really have anything. I wish I had more wall space but with one side of my living room being giant store shop like windows, the other having my TV and would look weird with art above/below it since it's mounted, the other having a giant shelf covering most of it, and finally the only one kind of works is the one that's cutaway so you can walk into it from the kitchen. idk for the main shit i want actual art. but alady good suggestion, there's an art walk thing the first saturday of every month so i think i'll go to that |
