Alady's dad's hot take from the 70s and 80s: "That Bruce Springsteen is nothing but a Bob Dylan ripoff"
Went Bob, for obvious reasons. Bruce gets all the points for his marathon live shows but the ones I've seen have been pretty cheeseball.

Scoot's dad's take:
"What the hell is this crap? Turn on Johnny Mathis."

only saw springsteen once, and that was for the miserable tunnel of love tour at the rosemizon when he was getting divorced from his first wife. only springsteen album I like is fire on the fingertips and a couple of the non-hits on greetings.
3 dylan shows: '79 at the checkerdome, backed by petty and the heartbreakers at the first farm aid, show at cabaret metro in the late 1990s. his masterpieces are it takes a lot to laugh, subterranean homesick blues, maggie's farm, the protopunk stuff from planet waves, the goofy raps like 115th dream, and the uptempo stuff on the basement tapes. he's not number 1 in the pantheon of nanafish favorites, but he's got to be in the top 20.

I voted the way the narrative voice of the fourth of fifth best Counting Crows song would've voted

Theres a scene in this weeks 9-1-1 where a homeless guy accidentally jumps into a trash compactor while Springsteen's cover of "Trapped" plays and now I'm considering changing my vote.

I love both of these guys so much it makes my heart burst when I think about it. I refuse to vote for one over the other.

I've seen both and both are great live. Bruce Springsteen was better.

seen both twice (bob 04 - willie nelson dueted with him on a song - and 07; bruce 85 and 17). bruce was better by far, although bob’s bands were great.
but went with bob because he’s putting his archives up the turnpike in tulsa next to the woody guthrie center. so that’s cool.

My first concert was Bob's son's band.
