everyone who posted a list already except hubbins should take the 3 days to watch uncle boonmee While we are at it, may I make a pitch as well for Incendies? (At least for those who have not seen it yet, and even more so given this board's professed love for Villeneuve) Oh and since I am greedy, I'll also pitch Never look away (Werk ohne Autor) from the director who made The Lives of Others/Das Leben der Andereren (which I suspect many of you have seen)

If there’s a place I can conveniently watch it, I would be happy to do so. I'll PM you a link when I have one EDIT: If anyone feels the need to recall their past lives....let me know Yes please

1. Videdrome 2. The Brood 3. Dead Ringers 4. The Fly 5. Naked Lunch 6. Crash 7. Rabid 8. Shivers 9. M Butterfly 10. The Dead Zone 11.Existenz - All of the allegories and references 100% work and are still relevant but this just has such a hot couch energy that is hard to shake which makes it super fun but also super goofy. Amazing this came out at the exact same time as the Matrix. 12. Scanners 13. Fast Company 14. Stereo 15. Crimes of the Future

instead of getting the physical dvd from the redbox at the jewel, we streamed a beautiful day in the neighborhood this afternoon from redbox. first time we've ever streamed a movie. movie was good, but not sensational.

You can stream movies from redbox? Yeah, but its the same price as getting them from amazon or vudu or wherever. Getting dvds from the box is still cheaper.

Not a big fan of After Hours, I just feel sorry for Griffin Dunne's character. If he was like a yuppie scumbag who was getting some kind of karmic justice from the denizens of the city I'd probably enjoy it more.

Shot so much better than the first it climbed my ranks a lot this time around. The kills just don't quite cut it to make it above the first. One of the greatest comedies ever 1. Short Cuts 2. The King of Comedy 3. Rashomon 4. Ace Ventura: Pet Detective5. The Game 6. The Hunt 7. Detour 8. Yojimbo 9. Lady Snowblood 10. Friday the 13th (1980) 11. The Seventh Seal 12. The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934) 13. The Invisible Man 14. Friday the 13th Part II15. Dan in Real Life 16. Sonic the Hedgehog 17. Branded to Kill 18. Coherence 19. Junior 20. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie 21. Under the Cherry Moon 22. Terminator: Genisys

Cats Eyes - My partner is doing a Stephen King rewatch and I've been joining for the ones I've been interested in and one of the shorts has Cronenberg's Dead Zone referenced in it for a moment and the first short is particularly good and stars a great Cronenberg-adjacent actor James Woods who again is a great actor and whom I can only assume is a fantastic human being enjoying being normal and chill. The other two shorts are truly nothing tho 30. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) 31. Firestarter 32. Mixed Nuts 33. Children of the Corn 34. Bulletproof

Fine but what movies am I legally obligated to watch before then? Did a quick scan through your 2010s films that you've seen and it would probably be worthwhile to check out Phantom Thread and/or Parasite, but you do have a lot of the heavy hitters on there Turns out, this was really good!
