Both of these do amazing things for music in putting on shows and also have too much money. Which is the best?

It’s not a hot take if everything you’ve mentioned prior to this take is a pro-capitalist view. Also if by pinko you mean caring about people over profits then hell yeah I’m all over this title

concerts cost money to put on. free beer costs money to provide. staff and crew for events all need to be paid. cities need permit fees to be paid. it costs lots of money to do free shows. both vans and red bull put on lots of free shows and by that logic probably have a lot of money throw around.
hope this helps.

It’s not a hot take if everything you’ve mentioned prior to this take is a pro-capitalist view. we talked about it before iceage and im sure the biggest reasoning behind all these free shows is for charity/tax write-offs. so yes very pro capitalist i guess.

And product promotion and creating goodwill for the company name. Probably all comes out of the advertising budget. Initially I saw the phrase "too much money" and thought this was a thread about exes.
