Discuss previous season(s) if you're catching up or talk about Pied Piper vs Hooli

Makes sense, he's a movie star now.
I bet he shows up in some capacity anyway.

Two things to note about last night's episode: 1. The scene where Richard gives Dinesh the mobile Pineapple, saying to press the trigger if he saw guards coming and that "he'll be rewarded in the end" took me a second viewing to get that.
2. I think Mia hacked into Pied Piper and made their pseudo "hooli app" explode.

I totally just got #1. I had missed that. That's awesome.
Sucks about TJ miller, but I think the crew is funny enough to continue without him for at least another season.

Glad to see Gavin Belson back in the game. Overall an ok season. Not the best though

i'm curious how much longer this show can go on past season 5. wouldn't be shocked if 5 is its last

I thought it was a huge missed opportunity to not have Richard and Gavin actually work together. Really funny season though and I ultimately don't care too much about plot with this show because it is so consistently hilarious.

Uneven season finale to me, and i agree mostly with what people are saying. The difference with the next season is the change in Richard. He's not as naive as he was before, and he's sort of "broken bad" this season. I'm looking forward to Season 5, but I'm curious as well how they'll continue on beyond that.
The way they wrote TJ Miller out of the series was kind of meh to me. But it does leave it open for him to come back thankfully.

Also, it was always going to be about Richard vs. Gavin in the end, so if Season 5 is the end of the series, Gavin is the best bet for the series version of an antagonist.

Yeah this might've been my least favorite season. Still funny though. Not to happy with how they wrote out Elrich.

This was definitely my least favorite season, and I agree the way they got rid of Urlich was pretty lazy.
I feel pot committed to see this through but it's time to put this baby to bed.

Furthering the echo chamber, this was probably the weakest season. Also, I've grown increasingly tired of TJ Miller and the exit interview he gave just cemented my stance. He sounds like Erlich in reality.

Definitely enjoyed S5 E1 on Sunday especially with how Richard took down Sliceline by ordering more pizzas than what the service could actually deliver. My prediction is that we'll see a darker Richard Hendrix by the end of the season. Thoughts?

I liked the episode, but I'm not eager to see the Gavin vs. Richard Part 5000 slowly roll out over the season. Hoping they change it up. Definitely a darker Richard, but the character was never super likable so I'm still pretty indifferent to him.

felt more like a series finale than a season finale to me, surprised they got renewed for another season with how neatly that wrapped up.

I dono the whole season felt like a transition to big company pied piper which seems like the necessary second life this show needs to move beyond the same story cycle over and over I'm just not sure we needed a whole season to transition.
