There’s a few good articles on the web about it, but I kinda think you need a degree in sound engineering to really understand the details.

Secondary prices shot up after the first videos started to hit the internet so it's less likely I end up going next month. I guess it comes down to how much is this show actually worth to attend. Hopefully prices will dip again.

Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but a sphere is an inherently bad shape for acoustics on traditional speakers so they have a custom setup where functionally each section has its own surround sound system. I think I read that it averages out to like 7 or 8 speakers per person. A few years back when I saw Bon Iver they were using the L-ISA brand configuration and customized setup on his arena tour and it was similar, where the sound was full and clear in my ears, I could hear riffs and noodling I wouldn’t have heard otherwise, but not so loud that I needed earplugs. This was especially notable for this tour as it was at Allstate arena which historically has dogshit sound. I assume the sphere is a similar engineering as that, though without further research I couldn’t tell you much else.

That sounds right (no pun intended). There’s 160,000 speakers for 20-25k people

Where were your seats? Or were you in GA?
Did it seem like the GA section had room to space out in the back or the sides?
Any functional logistics notes in terms of entering the arena, concessions, restrooms, etc?

Any functional logistics notes in terms of entering the arena, concessions, restrooms, etc? We were in 309, so mid-level add to the side a bit. We had front row which was great. We parked at the Howard Hughes parking lot across the street to the east and it was a very short walk. We got there at 6 and it was quick to park and get to the venue. Everything is clearly marked going into the arena and inside as well. The merch lines on the bottom and 200 levels were pretty short/quick but 100/300 looked long so if you want merch and the line seems crazy then you might want to try another level. There’s a pop up shop in the Zoo Station experience at the Venetian but it’s not a complete overlap, both have unique items. EDIT: There’s also a merch shop outside of the sphere that opens at like 10a or noon so that’s another option. EDIT 2: There was definitely room on the side edges of the floor where people had plenty of space.

After fees I think it was ~155/265/400/500 for reserved and then ~265 for GA.

U2 have been walking offstage to an unknown song every night at the Sphere. Bono started staying onstage and singing along with the first few lines, then after a few nights Edge was doing the same thing. The vocals in the song are by Brittany Howard. People had been predicting that it would be featured on an upcoming U2 project and it seems they are right.
Song is called 'Glorify' and will supposedly be released the first half of this year
Crystal clear recording of it:

Into it. I wonder if Brittany will play it on her mini tour this month (we’re seeing her next weekend).
