How do y'all feel about those Chipotle style pizza places like Mod, Blaze, Pizzarev, etc. Or have those even made it past the west coast yet First I'm even hearing of this type of pizza place. |

Plus I can get BBQ sauce as the red sauce, which is the greatest |

Blaze is fine. It's good but not earth shattering or anything.
They will fire up a smores for you in the oven, though, which is a nice treat.

Had Pequod's last night. Damn that is a tasty pizza. Our waitress was terrible (took 45 minutes for our app, she threw away my wife's leftover veggie pizza instead of boxing it to go) so maybe next time we'll stick to carryout or delivery.

Had a good slice with Neader the other day at Sal's Pizza Factory. If you're ever in Charlotte, the top 3, imho:
1. Portofino's (no delivery)
2. Sal's
3. 500 Degrees (formerly New York Pizza)
Other decent places: Tony's, Luigi's for NY style. Picasso's for a good, doughy, non-NY style pie and for watching football on Sunday. The rest of the pizza here is questionable, but Neader likes this one other place I haven't had yet.

The other day at Subway I got a wrap and a couple pieces of chicken fell out while the lady was wrapping it. Instead of throwing it back into the wrap she threw it into the garbage. WTF? At least throw it into the sandwich wrapper and I'll make the decision on whether or not I'm desperate enough to eat the leftover shake at the bottom of the bag. Really inconsiderate.

Grabowski’s, a classic pizzeria with Chicago roots, plans to open in July in the former Comida space at The Source Hotel + Market Hall.
The family-friendly spot plans to served thin-crust, 1950s tavern-style pizzas in a space filled with a mezzanine-level arcade with pinball machines and other classic arcade games.
Behind Grabowski’s, Jared Leonard — the founder of Stone Soup Collective that includes Budlong Hot Chicken in Chicago and Denver, AJ’s Pit Bar-B-Q, and Au Feu — and Justin Anderson — who has Zeppelin Station, Isabel, Revival Food Hall, and Moneygun

tried the nyc slice shop here in greenville. owner is super nice, za is not anything to write on the board about but it is good enough. it's about a 15 min walk from my place but they do delivery for only $2 so good to know. The place is only open until 8 which blows my mind since the gville is seriously lacking in late night options for drunk food and this place is perfect for it. more importantly going back to charlotte on saturday for #therapy and am already daydreaming about stopping by sal's after.
