I used to pay $40 for a haircut but then I found out the Great Clips in Lakeview does $9.99 haircuts if you do it before noon. Normally I don't do Great Clips but the folks at the Great Clips Lakeview also know how to cut hair. It's fantastic and even with a generous tip I still pay less.

I go to a place called Babooshka and they treat me well. Dude even trims by beard and all said I spend about $40. It took me awhile to find a good place.
Great Clips and the like are all terrible mainly because the turnover is kind of insane. I'd prefer to have one person cutting my hair so I don't need to reexplain how I want it done.

Yeah the issue with Great Clips is once you find someone good, then that person leaves to work at an actual salon months later.

I go to Reyna's New Look Salon on Belmont. Reyna cuts my hair every time and I don't have to say anything because she's got it down. She also only charges $14 so I just get her a $20 and call it a day.

Yeah, women's hair is a racket. We would definitely have to make alterations to our budget in months when my ex would get a cut and color because it was so absurdly expensive.
