Yeah, I think his restaurant here folded a year or two ago, if I remember correctly i dont wanna attribute it to the wrong person but i think a boarder had an inside scoop that he had super shady business practices |

So... yesterday was sorta the last straw for me and this festival this year. My Dad and I have gone together for six years now as our yearly trip - but between both of us living outside of Chicago now, not being able to take work off on Thursday, the Sunday scheduling shitshow, and the aftershows not solving any conflicts for me... we decided to sell our tickets.
Instead he's gonna come out to NYC for the first time since I moved here and we're gonna see the Stones on August 5th! First time for both of us, and considering it'll be significantly cheaper than Lolla, I don't have to take work off, and it's the fuckin' Stones .... this ended up being a no-brainer.
Gonna be real weird not being at Lolla tho, hopefully they'll get their shit together in a way that's more convenient for me next year!

I had low expectations just to not be totally disappointed, but the Stones blew me away a few years ago. Hearing "Ladies and gentlemen...The Rolling Stones!" is one of the best concert moments of my life.
