For thebosma and anyone else who might be interested: They emailed out the application link for the volunteer program last night. I'm now debating if I will try to do this at all again this year. If anyone is considering it, like I said, it's really not that bad. You stand there and pour water or give people directions for about 4 hours, and then you can go off and watch the fest the rest of the day. They give preference to people who will volunteer all 4 days, and they want you to work at least one night shift over the four days (2 to 6 PM counts as a night shift). For the water stations, you can pick which area you work in so that you can at least be closer to the stages you mgiht want to hear during your shift. Here's the link: www.lovehopestrength.org/lollapalooza2019/

Is there a link to the actual menus that I'm missing? If I was able to confirm Sausage Haus bringing back the schnitzel sammie I would consider returning to Lolla for that alone.

No sign or mention of Graham Elliot this year. Wonder if his affiliation is done now that he no longer has any restaurant presence in Chicago. Hard to imagine a Chicago Lolla without the lobster corn dog.

The best part of that tweet is that it highlights how the lobster corndogs have shrunk in size over the years. Well, they seem to have retained most of his "curated picks" and added a few more noteworthy places, so no real loss. Did we have Shake Shack last year?

Just got an offer through Do312 More. For every five people I get to sign up for a free trial of it between now and Sunday, they’ll give me a pair of single day passes to Lolla.

I think it would be easier for me to get five friends to just each give me $20 so I could buy a ticket.

After looking at the lineup again - when will they officially rebrand this as B-96 SummerJam?

I don't wanna whip the board up into a frenzy of ticket-buying, but Scarypoolparty was just added. Honestly guys, keep it orderly in here as you rush to buy those wristbands.

LOL I just came to post that. It appears that Calpurnia has cancelled their summer dates, including Lolla.

I'm guessing they will have the Toyota Den tent again this year? I'm interested in that schedule. It's a great way to reduce some conflicts.

That's right, it was on a small deck. You've gotta pay the big bucks if you want to see the cast of Hamilton on a tiny stage though.
