oof yeah i tried mapping out the day or two that we're planning on going. yikes. friday: idles -> second half of japanese breakfast -> some of 21 savage -> all of chevelle until the last 2 songs -> janelle monae -> second half of bishop briggs i guess? -> probably gambino for a bit or at least until he plays "this is america" -> mother hubbards sunday: sandy alex g -> ? -> francis and the light -> some weird path that will let me see the first bit of denzel curry, 5 minutes of Shaq, and the remaining set from Sharon Van Etten -> probably Kacey again even tho i'll see her the night before -> would be nice to see mitski but if im already on that side there's a real good chance the buttrocker in me watches Slash -> lol at perry farrell on the way out I'm there those two days and that's nearly my same schedule. Although I'm stuck pouring water Sunday night. I'm still deciding if I want to do that on the north end for Mitski or near Perrys for San Holo

Hoping for some Pornos For Pyros too. I remember seeing Perry and Peter DiStefano playing "Pets" and "Tahitian Moon" on the kidz stage years ago and it was great.

I'm still deciding if I want to do that on the north end for Mitski or near Perrys for San Holo Looking at the map, they've moved the North water station to be tucked in Southwest of the bandshell, which sucks for hearing/seeing much of anything over there. You can definitely see the stage from the Perry's water station. However, I'm told they have doubled the size of that station (which, frankly won't impact sight lines, but could be busier than usual). If you care enough, send me a PM before next week so you can pick me out at the volunteer village and once you've decided where you want to be, I can call in a favor with the water station leads and put you on the zone you prefer.

lol a few BiRdies from boards past actually mentioned that it sold Not-Well-Enough that they may be considering shrinking the park a bit (possibly not extending the grove/perry's all the way out to the tracks and overpass) i also just realized they never posted the 2019 map so there may be something to that I've seen the map, can't post it (it was visible to me for a brief time, but hasn't been shared) but if you have specific questions I can try to answer them in DM. Regarding the West side of the park, what I've seen indicates that the footprint is identical to last year for Perry's and the Grove. There was always a service path on the West side of both of those stages, and that service path remains. I suppose it could be wider this year, but I don't know the point of that. Why would you knock 10 yards of wasted space off the footprint, only to widen the service path?

Thanks, I will let you know. They were pretty good last year about letting everyone pick what part of the park they wanted to be stationed at, so I'm assuming they'll do the same this year. Once I see the map, that'll help me decide too.

There’s some good stuff on Friday before Idles. Omar Apollo and Boy Pablo are both v good. Oh man, really digging Boy Pablo so far. Might have to split my time between him and Nude Party.

Current schedule is rough (in commitment not quality IMO) but is mostly as follows:
Thursday: Beach Bunny-> shalou? -> Lennon Stella-> Normani-> HER-> maybe a little bit of Fisher-> Saba-> eating dinner -> FKJ-> Strokes
Friday: boy pablo-> IDLES-> a bit of Tierra Whack or Japanese Breakfast-> Maggie Rogers-> Janelle -> eat some dinner -> Gambino
Saturday: Men I Trust-> Jade Bird -> Smino -> 6lack -> lil Wayne-> gunna -> J Balvin-> Kacey Aftershow
Sunday:
(Sandy) Alex G-> JID-> Joji-> Denzel Curry-> Rosalia-> Mitski-> Ari

Sunday: (Sandy) Alex G-> JID-> Joji-> Denzel Curry-> Rosalia-> Mitski-> Ari I think that's basically gonna be my Sunday schedule too. Those Perry Farrell setlists are making that set actually pretty tempting though. Which is not a thing I expected at all.

Has anyone ever gotten access to that Tito's Bar area next to the shell or have any clue what you need to do to get one of those wristbands? I always forget to look into it until I see it at the fest.

I always forget to look into it until I see it at the fest. I just followed the link from "Around the Park" and, besides repeatedly saying that was over 21, there was nothing that mentions wristbands. Nice write-up about Lolla and getting 'swag,' but nothing very clear.

The one between Perry's and the main stage -- anyone can get into that as long as you're 21 and over. You can buy drinks and get some giveaway items. It's actually a decent place to chill out for a bit between sets, but nothing special. This one is to the right of the Tito's stage (the shell) and has been there since they started sponsoring a few years back. I've asked about entry before and the people say you need a Tito's wristband, but don't seem clear on how to get it. I'm guessing it's something Tito's gives out to business partners and big vendors in the area, as you get a nice view of both stages, and I believe the drinks are free -- but was curious if others have found ways to win or earn that access in past years.

Per doctors orders I am out for this one folks. Thank god I don’t have to buy seventy million tickets on the resale market like pitchfork
Might have an SVE after show ticket up for grabs too if anyone’s into that, though I think I’ll ultimately end up going

Might talk about it behind the paywall. Might not. Bit too early to tell at this point but 3 days of drinking and smoking in the hot sun is probably not a good call, and not just because of the lineup

I spent most of Sunday in it last year. They give Titos passes to business partners but you can also get in with an artist or staff pass. Can't get in with VIP
