Giants traded Damon Harrison to the Lions for a fifth-round pick...seems like a good deal to me, given that our run defense is bad.

But for real - it seems that Haslam, a perennially shitty owner, was worried about his reputation of being trigger happy, so he kept Hue on for a third year. A decision which, though I didn't agree with - seeing as how our teams were so undisciplined and never improving both within games and from week to week - I at least understood, especially considering how talent deplete those rosters were.
Now we have an actual talented squad, playmakers on both sides of the ball, an emerging, young core - aaaand the same problems from the last two years are still there re: discipline and adjustments. Thus, Hue got the rightful boot.

admittedly i'm not a cleveland fan, but watched hard knocks this summer, and now that mayfield's the qb, there's a lot of interest in them here in oklahoma.
as much of a univ of oklahoma-hater i am, i do think mayfield's got the drive and talent to be a pretty good qb.
edit: just saw they fired oc todd haley too. woof.

Oof. Saw that coming, though. ESPN was way overhyping the Panthers before the game. Err time.

Coming into town for the Bears/Lions matchup at Soldier Field this weekend. Looking forward to tailgating beforehand even more than the game.

Probably? I still think Stafford/Marvin/Golladay/Kerryon should be able to put up some points (and I need the first three to do so for my fantasy teams).

Put Cody Parkey in football jail I'd be shocked if he's not cut tomorrow.

4 uprights is insanely bad luck. But on the other hand: he’s the 4th highest paid kicker and hasn’t been particuray great before this.

Man remember when they let Robbie Gould go because he was old? I think it was actually done because he was expensive (for a kicker), and they were rebuilding, so they didn't feel that paying top dollar for a kicker was worthwhile. Either way, dumb decision.
