Shit I thought that was the one where Matt Damon defended the Great Wall of China That movie is super stupid but technically isn't 'white-washing' because Matt Damon is a fictional character fighting fictional aliens. Aloha has Emma Stone playing a native Hawaiian of half-Asian ethnicity. |

The plot is that a meteor transporting murderous insectoid aliens crashes into Earth and the Great Wall of China was ACTUALLY build to contain them. It is also directed by the guy that did House of Flying Daggers. It is very bad.
Emma Stone's character in Aloha is named 'Allison Ng' so there really isn't ny debate here...

Oh, I was talking about Matt Damon vs. The Lizards, but yeah there were ads for that everywhere. Haven't seen either of them, but Aloha seemed of particular bad taste.
