Volcano Choir's Unmap is 10 years old. Wouldn't mind a third one from them.

Hey, thanks! This is the first time I've listened to Dum Dum Girls and now I'm checking out their catalog. Too bad they're not in the TK.

I saw them play a room of like 50 in a small venue in Detroit I think my senior year of high school. Minks opened who were kickass and I interviewed them for the blog beforehand. Naturally, I was front and center during the Dum Dum Girls set and a huge Smiths fan and it was right after they released their cover of TIALTNGO. Instead of shouting it out, because that felt rude, I typed "PLEASE PLAY THERE IS A LIGHT" on my phone and held it up during the end of their set. They came back and said they were done but because I requested it they decided to do it as an encore just for me. It was awesome.

All of these were released 10 years ago today (yes I'm aware the Hold Steady album wasn't great, but it had 2 of their best songs on there)
