Honestly, if we're talking "better" I'm not even sure if I agree that Bullets is better than Three Cheers...
but pretty easily I've listened to Bullets a lot more often than any other MC album over the last five years.

Dear Science is gonna sit somewhere near my top 20-25. Was at their anniversary show last week and it ripped - Lover's Day especially was amazing.
Young Liars EP is alsp likely to be one of 2-4 EPs that make my top 100.

Yeah there is already an embarrassing amount of stuff I've realized I missed, both from just combing through a few others' lists and just my own recognition.
I have at least 10-15 more albums to listen to / ponder, just today alone.

Brand new gonna land on any of these lists? i actually had a few on my prelim list and then whittled them down mostly just because i rarely came back to their stuff even before the shit with Jessie came out same thing with lostprophets, honestly im actually having a harder time debating if Pantera's Reinventing the Steel deserves to be mentioned on mine or if my hatred for Phil has truly ruined everything about my memory of that band. |

I mean, full disclosure, I put a Crystal Castles album on my list.
Ethan Kath is a horrible monster and I will not support him or any project he manages to release in the future. I haven’t even listened to CC since Alice Glass came forward. However, the album was legitimately important to me during the aughts and these lists are low-key enough I felt like I could include it.
If for some reason I thought putting a CC album on The Board Dot’s lists was benefiting Ethan or bringing him positive publicity in any way, I would omit it. These lists are just fun with friends, though. So I wouldn’t begrudge anyone putting a BN album on theirs. Or a Nickleback album.

Not trying to open a can of worms but taking QOTSA off lists if their albums would rate highly on them because of Josh Homme kicking the photographer in the face seems extreme.
Is there anything I'm missing?

It's definitely one of those interesting ones. I don't condone any of that shitty behavior listed above, the dude clearly has some issues. I can't argue with a present-day gesture like not supporting the band any further by going to shows or purchasing merch/music. It just seems weird to me to erase Queens albums from the face of history for those actions. |
