im gonna say tomorrow night or thursday morning with solange being removed
they usually will adjust the stage to allow more time for other acts rather than just leave the stage empty for an hour
**with the exception of the year Lush did it the day they were supposed to play lol

Coachella not selling out is pretty shocking and truly a time where festivals are on a steep decline

Should we be expecting a schedule tonight? Well generally it drops on Tuesday nights but it has been an off year for them already so...

The market is just way too saturated, and there is too much redundancy between the majors.

Every festival producer has been saying that rising artist booking fees over the last few years is the main reason for price increases. With more and more festivals going extinct I wonder if there will be some pushback from festival bookers in the future ?

Haven't we kind of seen it already? The drop in lineup quality has been pretty prevalent over the years. Not from a subjective standpoint either, but I feel like 2016 on for like every fest lineup the bottom half of a poster no one knew.

With streaming services paying artists next to nothing, playing live is the way they make a living. Blame itunes and spotify I suppose.

Raise your hand if you’ve been to a festival in the last 5 years
Congrats, you have seen all the bands and acts who play them

Warms my heart the Kanye Sunday Service thing hasn’t helped Coachella move weekend 2 tickets.

We were always heading toward only the #brands being able to afford music festivals.

Warms my heart the Kanye Sunday Service thing hasn’t helped Coachella move weekend 2 tickets. i seriously dont get how they thought that was a good move the most positive reaction coachella has ever received in the last 5 years is once it was "leaked" that Kanye dropped off the lineup

The market is just way too saturated, and there is too much redundancy between the majors. look i'd be okay with this entirely if it meant Lolla and Roo and ACL would book Aphex Twin

I just think the top tier fests (Chella, Lolla) have gotten to the right equilibrium point where they are stretched out enough and charging enough where they don't leave money on the table due to speculative arbitrage. Seems like an efficient market.
I think Bonnaroo just tries to find new ways to lose money. This new meth rock fest they're trying sounds like the next great attempt!

This new meth rock fest they're trying sounds like the next great attempt! Tbh I think "Country Thunder but with Mainstream Rock" could probably do pretty well.

We were always heading toward only the #brands being able to afford music festivals. If I were local and could pay $350 for Coachella I’d probably do it. And since #brands have more money than god if they dump em on the secondary that’s whatever too

With Belinda and Smashmouth anchoring it down I would say that Elginchella would be a top 5 fest in 2019.
