Since this season is ass, let's debate some fake trades. Kris Dunn, Bobby Portis, and a 2nd round pick to Phoenix for Josh Jackson. Who says no? Yeah, Josh Jackson is shit. I liked him in college, but I guess that was just a product of him being a better athlete than almost everyone he was playing against. He's basically the SF equivalent of Portis. Can't pass, can't defend, has piss poor shot selection and is generally a black hole on offense. Dunn is a far better player than Jackson at this point (and actually quite a bit cheaper). I don't view him as a starting PG, and hopefully the Bulls don't either, but I'd like to see them keep him long-term on a deal around $10 mil per year to be their combo-guard off the bench. That would put him in the same range as Smart, Dinwiddie, VanVleet and Exum, which I think is fair for all parties involved. |

A terrible team paying the 26th best PG in the league 10 mil a year to come off the bench probably isn't the best allocation of resources. |

The Bulls also intend to receive MarShon Brooks in the deal. Brooks was a key figure in a failed three-way trade between the Grizzlies, Washington Wizards and Phoenix Suns earlier in the season. The deal fell apart after the Suns believed they were trading for Dillon Brooks, not MarShon Brooks.

I've always liked Wayne Selden so I hope they give him some decent run. They could use some strong backup minutes on the wings since it's clear Denzel is never going to be that guy for them.

I remember loving MarShon Brooks in that draft. I was really hoping he dropped to the Bulls and I was bummed that we ended up with Jimmy Butler and Nikola Mirotic.

This last stretch by James Harden has maybe been the best 10 or so game stretch I've ever witnessed a player have. He's averaging 40.1 ppg, 9 assists per game, and 6 rebounds per game over his last 12. That's insane
Rest of the team is finally coming together to compliment him well (somehow Austin Rivers has been playing really really well) but dude is carrying the team it's insane to watch
