This year has basically been my re-introduction to the league after 7-8 years of very passively following the NBA. But man, I've loved watching this Bucks / Raptors series. Kawhi v. Giannis is such a captivating matchup.
Edit: Changed the years after I realized its been longer than I thought

Pretty rough collapse by the Raptors. Free throw shooting in the playoffs has not been good outside of the Warriors and Kawhi.

Yeah Bucks shouldn't feel too bad about that loss. Raptors had lots of chances to put it away.

Lmao just go home, Portland. This is sad. The glee with which some people root for the Warriors is so confusing to me This post was inspired by turning this on w/ ~ 9 mins left in regulation and seeing the Blazers' double digit lead start to slip - and realizing that a Warriors win was an all but complete inevitability. That feeling was just legitimately sad. I'm no fan of theirs, but they are a true machine.

Lmao just go home, Portland. This is sad. The glee with which some people root for the Warriors is so confusing to me I don't think his post was necessarily rooting for the Warriors that much but I do agree with this sentiment in general. Having one team win every year is not fun. On top of that they are ridiculously arrogant (including Kerr), complain about the refs as much as the worst offenders and yet never get any crap for it (Draymond specifically yells at the refs on like every play that doesn't go their way and I guess has immunity from Technicals for that when no other player does), have one of the dirtier players in the league in Draymond (they also had Zaza last year whose pretty shitty too), they have slept walk through the last two regular seasons not giving a shit until the playoffs since they have the talent to do that, and added KD and Boogie to an already unstoppable team just to spit in the face of the idea of the league having any sort of parity
And I think the team was really fun to watch pre-KD, but I really don't think its that fun of a team to watch with KD on it. Really talented, yes, but they've devolved way more to KD ISO's rather than the beautiful ball movement they had before him. This current team with him hurt is looking a bit more like the old team and I'd argue its a lot more entertaining. Took the best team in the league then made them even better to the point of being virtually unbeatable while simulatenously getting less fun to watch, I fucking hate that.
I almost responded all this to CG's post but I fucking hate that team and I'm hoping so hard KD does leave this off-season because the league will be so much better for it if he does.
I want to hope the Bucks can give them a run but realistically I know the Warriors will win in 5 or 6. And I don't think the Raptors really have a shot at all. I'll give it that it would be very fun to watch a team finally knock them off, but chances are we don't even get that before KD leaves.

Houston fans calling out Draymond for being a dirty player is laughable when you have Chris Paul on your team

The Bucks owner's daughter wearing a Pusha T shirt courtside at the Bucks/Raptors game last night is the ultimate troll job that I never knew I needed.

1. These review times are ridiculous
2. I didn’t realize drake literally sits on the court in front of the booth

I would not characterize ¨making 34-year old Chris Paul’s 3/124 contract available¨ as ¨blowing it up¨

What about all roster players not named James harden and draft picks

If they are keeping James Harden, they arent blowing it up IMO.

Hard to imagine a situation where they contend next year if they unload Capela or Paul, but they probably can’t/won’t tank with Harden on the roster. Have to assume CP3 drama is bad, otherwise just running it back again would seem like the best option.
