High school started at 7:15. It sucked.
College I know I had 8ams my first semester on MTThF which also sucked. But what was worse than that was I had a class on Friday that didn't get out until 4.
One semester I only had classes two days a week. That was amazing.

Crazy that some of you remember your college schedules so specifically. i vaguely remember freshman year first semester because it was intimidating and left an impression. everything after that blends into 10 am - 3 pm monotony punctuated by frequent hangovers. i do remember only having class tuesdays and thursdays second semester senior year which was really fun. also first semester that year when i was in spain i didnt have class on mondays and spain doesnt hold class on fridays so i had 4 day weekends to go travel.

HS was 7:40 on the dot.
I don't believe I had a class before 9:00 in college. My Senior year was sweet cuz I had 2-semester independent study as part of the sched

Highschool was 7:50. Always had late morning and night class at school. Absolutely hated early morning class in college

The school I teach at starts at 7:45am.
Teachers vote on the schedule every year, and we have the option of 7:45am-2:45pm or 8:30am-3:30pm. The latter loses by a landslide every year because the Older Teachers with Kids contingent always beats out the Younger Teachers Who Go to Too Many Weeknight Concerts contingent.

Also attendance to 1st period in our school is atrocious, but I can't blame them because I was late to 1st period in high school about 90% of the time.

I think HS was 7:55.
I had a bunch of 8ams in college, but generally liked to be done with my day on the earlier side. Also ended up skipping a lot more class than I should've.

I slept through the final class of one of my college 8 a.m.s. Luckily the final was a paper not a test so I was able to turn it in later that day for most of the credit.

I woke up with a half hour left in one of my finals once. Ran to my car, drove to campus, and finished the exam comfortably in the remaining time. I was running exclusively on addrenaline

Most semesters in college I had classes blocked very early just to get them over with. Like 7:50am-1pm if I recall correctly.

oooooh i fell asleep during my econ final in h.s. because i went to see radiohead in stl the night before and got home at like 3 am
(if you had perfect attendance, finals were optional and could only boost your grade so i just left the classroom and said to forget i took the final and just accept whatever grade i got in econ cause i think i may have already received my college acceptance letter by then or maybe i just really fucking hated econ)

early grade school was 8 am. High school was 815 AM.
College most semesters I never had a class before 930 AM if I could help it. I think i had like two semesters with 8 AM classes though.
I actually really liked evening classes. I usually tried to set my schedule up so that I'd have like two classes from like 10-12 give or take an hour or two either way, then a couple hour break where I'd eat and study/homework/whatever, then an evening classes or two starting at like 4 or 5.

I used to like 10 a.m. classes because it was late enough that I didn't sleep through them but early enough that I didn't try to cram in assignments/studying right before the class.

Growing up, school started in the 7:50 to 8:10 range.
First period at the school where I teach starts at 8:00am, and I usually arrive at school around 7:20 to 7:30 am.

elementary school started at 9am. junior high school started at 7:40 and high school started at 7:45 or 7:50. this was because the buses were the same. so there was an early bus run for high school and jr high with dropoff at the jr high first. then those buses did the same routes for elementary school kids. all the schools are on the same street.
in college, freshman year i had an 8am lab across a parking lot from my dorm. i may have had one other 8am class through college, but i generally started on the 9:15 or 9:45 classes until my senior year when i did the morning radio show.

I gamed the system my senior year of high school so I didn't have to get to class until 11:45 it was a bad lifestyle decision.
