I don't know much about Bauhaus! I do enjoy Siouxsie and the Banshees, though!

Also, I don't like this song What do you have against Corona and pineapple Crush? real talk - do you not like this whole album? It's not my fave, but I like it. Rain in Soho is excellent, Abandoned Flesh and Shelved are both pretty good, and the rest I generally don't care for. The album as a whole is largely slow, repetitive, and not as concerned with the writing as much as being clever with the instrumentation. That bossa-nova-y sound just keeps coming through.

You should also watch The Hunger which is a vampire movie with David Bowie that heavily features Bauhaus

by the time I got around to wanting to see siouxsie in concert, she had turned the banshees into the creatures, and only she and budgie were left when they played metro. have not seen peter murphy in any form, but did enjoy love and rockets the yr they played the north stage at lolla. hashtag temptations cover for the win.

Both are good. I like a handful of songs from each of them.
Beavis and Butthead's commentary during the video for Siouxsie's "Peek-A-Boo":
"Uhhhhh...what kind of music is this?" "This is music for people who like, don't have any friends."

You should also watch The Hunger which is a vampire movie with David Bowie that heavily features Bauhaus as much as i dislike cover songs, bauhaus does a fantastic version of ziggy stardust. i like it better than bowie’s version.

I wouldn't say it's better but it's definitely a great cover. I like their version of Telegram Sam over T-Rex's tho.

as much as i dislike cover songs, bauhaus does a fantastic version of ziggy stardust. i like it better than bowie’s version. Oh man here's a take i’m a big bowie fan, but bauhaus’ is crunchier. and i like the sonics better than bowie’s.
