I've listened to this at least once a day for the last two weeks. Beautiful, sun-showering guitar from Kenya's Musa Juma.

Big Thief - Vampire Empire this band once again has me putting live vids taken on phones on repeat Equal parts thrilled and annoyed that they’re playing a half dozen unreleased songs on tour that are as good as if not better than a good percentage of their other songs.

I dig Adrianne's new phase of making absolutely perfect songs with silly titles. Cactus Practice, Vampire Empire, Once a Buncha Times.

I remember I had some additional fees to pay off from Bonnaroo and had to sell that one. I looked up that day and he was up against Darkside, Chance the Rapper, and Kings of Leon. Which is incredible to think about for many reasons. Edit- I'm sure I shitted on this lineup when it came out (partly as a coping mechanism, partly cause my taste at the time) but I would've had a lot of fun at something like this today. Note it only being 3 days!

Still toying around with the Jordan Lake Sessions, and this one made me revisit *Goths* and decide the "Shelved" outro is one of the Goats' finest melodic moments.

I was listening to Neil Young above and I guess I have autoplay setup since I go to Youtube a half dozen times a month. The above played, which is a song/video I played a lot in the early stages of the pandemic for reasons I don't remember: something about Jock Jams and needing energy or something. We live in a society

I applaud you for taking every opportunity you could to enjoy that song in those days just before Dicky went off the rails
