Im definitely doing a weekend of this. I really really want to do Weekend 2, but I havent been able to convince the girlfriend- she's actually a big Robyn fan but that's Red River Rivalry weekend and she's never missed one of those (she went to OU, plus lives in Dallas where it's at).
Still working on it but it's looking like Weekend 1 is more likely for me.

They added a few acts. The only kind of big one I noticed was Metric but they didn't specifically point them all out

James Blake and Kali Uchis are really the only acts I like on line 2 and3 on Saturday.
Wish they could have balanced it out with Sunday more.

This scares me that Thom Yorke and the Raconteurs might conflict.
I like it besides that. This might involve me missing Kacey which I'd hate but Lizzo into Cardi B would be a ridiculously fun Sunday night (or Lizzo into Robyn if I was weekend 2)

yeah the last 2 years ive bought fest tickets then backed out after looking at all the other costs and the lack of friends to split said costs with :/

the first 2 years we went (04, 05) we stayed at a friend's place, the 3rd year (06) we stayed at a shitty motel north of downtown, then the next 5 years my cousin got a suite at embassy suites a 15-minute walk away and let us crash in the living room. all we had to do to pay him was buy his meals after the fest. that saved a ton of $$$.

Again, my friend is moving down there, but they don’t even have their living situation figured out and probably aren’t doing all three days of the fest, so I didn’t want to impose. |

Very surprisingly good. At first I wasn't happy about not getting to see Calpurnia, but Scarypoolparty was great.
BTW, that song in the video blew me away.
