It seems festivals were extremely limited as far as bookings for this year, Covid is at least partially to blame for some of these underwhelming lineups.

It seems festivals were extremely limited as far as bookings for this year, Covid is at least partially to blame for some of these underwhelming lineups. I think that's definitely a factor. Many International acts not touring the states this year and other acts pushed their tours to next year |

acl looks pretty good, though most of the best acts we can see at pitchfork. seems wild that p4k grabbed an acl headliner but maybe that's happened in the past, not sure.

Someone explain this Rufus du Sol group to me. I've seen the name on lineups and I know it's some dj stuff but I figured they had some big pop hit probably and I went to look and they don't? And this isn't the best metric but they have 3.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify. For comparison St Vincent has 4 million. The big pop acts on the lineup have like 40+ million.
Why are the headlining? Just to have a DJ act close one of the stages?
