Didn't we have a dream thread? I couldn't find it.
I dreamed that I swallowed two lighters and had to have them surgically removed. I looked down and could see one through my skin and was like wtf how did that get in there? Then I saw the second one and was like I don't even think I own two lighters

The most vivid nightmare I've ever had was of being chased around by a baby-child vampire. It's been literally decades since I had that dream, but it is still my most memorable. It wasn't even really that scary; I was just very panicked about letting it catch me.
I don't know what this means.

since i started taking zzzquil at night to help me sleep, i've been having some realistically weird dreams the last month or so. people i know, work with, etc. in just weird situations they normally wouldn't be in. nothing freaky, just very vivid. but at least i'm sleeping better. how long can i take that stuff anyway?

i had a dream i showed up to my dad's surprise party that i've been planning and all the food was eaten before he even arrived. I panic and called the delivery place and they said WTF are you talking about? we are still working on your order. apparently my sister decided to play a joke on me.
idk why this party is stressing me out at this point

I have a recurring dream where I forget to go to a class for an extended period of time and I am on the verge of failing it.
I have been out of college for more than 7 years. Is this ever going to stop?

I have a similar recurring dream where it's the day of the final and I haven't been to class in a long time, I'm walking around the building trying to find the classroom. |

I have those dreams too. Not sure if it is a stress dream, or just a 'remember that time you went to the final on the wrong day because you never went to class and missed the announcement that it had changed?' dream

i had a dream last night that i was at a burning man-type festival, but it was in the woods. there was a main road with vendors on either side. there was also a much sought-after island. but the weather/waves were horrible and everyone on the island got stuck there. i was trying to get out there and somehow got close enough to see that the ground was a sea of people who couldn't get off the island. they were just sleeping and hoping for an eventual way off. then i went back to the main road trying to leave, but someone put a pile of shit and snakes in my hoodie. it was enough to weigh me down, so i took off the hoodie and then woke up.

I don’t partake in redacted but when I was on vacation I partook in a lot of redacted and it led to some fun dreams as well as a whole lot of only funny to me things written on my joke pad

A dream I had last night was that I was in some sort of work-related conference. We were doing some sort of team-building exercise, I think involving crossword puzzles. Except they were stupid repetitive and the guy presenting them (who looked like Josh Peck for some reason) kept getting the puzzles all mixed up. So I walked out. Only one to do so. I came back at the end of the conference and everyone still working on them was all like "ooo you're in trouble", and at the end of the thing, Josh Peck's lookalike basically told me that I couldn't have done that, that I was a horrible person, and that he didn't even like me so I should probably be punished and fired.
Then I woke up.
My self-esteem ain't doing too great today thanks to this

Had this dream I was with members of my family and we went to some island that’s part of India. Somehow we got split up and I spent the night sleeping in a sleeping bag in some open air “hotel” that was comprised of the spaces between shipping containers. Next day we reconnected and my family was like “we should explore more, we didn’t really see India”

i dreamt that i went to see saint etienne with a kiwi friend and two friends from high school who have the same name. and then we couldn't figure out how to get home afterward through the crowd of people trying to get photos with the band. and then a topless asian woman told me how to get to the metra. but my friends were missing. and then i found one of them still sitting in his seat from the concert, except now he was in blackface.

I have this recurring dream where I'm going to some big music festival in England and have no idea who is playing. My wife and I are basically on vacation there and I find out about the fest. I don't have a ticket but I get in somehow. It is in a fairly wooded park with a lot of people. I keep looking for a schedule and can't find one. I find a few stages, but no one is playing at the time. I feel like simply giving up, but it's an English fest so I think there is some kind of 'rare' factor for the acts, so I just guess I have FOMO on something big or unusual. Very frustrating.

Had a dream that I was back in school and was heading on a school trip to Australia. We were in Detroit on a bus heading to the airport to get there. Rango was seated next to me. I then realized I didn't have my passport. I frantically searched through my bag and was taking everything out and Rango just kept roasting me on the shit I had with me. These things include the Walter Issacson Steve Jobs biography and also my signed Bloc Party setlist.

That's another type of recurring dream I have - where I'm supposed to fly somewhere and I'm at the airport and can't find my passport, or I'm late for a flight, or I have to fly somewhere the next day and I haven't bought a ticket.

Did you ever act in plays at school? I've had dreams where I'm backstage before a performance looking for a script b/c I can't remember my lines. I was in some plays in high school. |
