I have sadly been totally preoccupied with work and personal issues so I am way behind on this year's releases. Knowing my crappy taste, any recommendations on under-the-radar stuff I probably missed but should give a listen?

I am spending the next few days knocking out some big misses from the year. Here's what's on the agenda; I have heard none of these.
Is there anything I absolutely need to prioritize?
Orville Peck - Pony Rex Orange County - Pony The National - Pony Earl Sweatshirt - Feet of Clay Ezra Furman - Twelve Nudes (Sandy) Alex G - House of Sugar Chromatics - Closer to Grey Black Belt Eagle Scout - At the Party with My Brown Friends

I'll stan for that Black Belt Eagle Scout record. Had never listened to them before and ended up enjoying it. Also the Alex G record is solid, tho I prefer Rocket.

I actually like that list a lot. I'm just not getting what people are getting with these Angel Olsen/Alex G records

people already like Angel and this album sounds big/grand so it feels like you should consider it to be great. It's good but possibly her worst full length
