This is informal and not a project. If anyone tallys a complete list I'm using my "one free person to permaban" powers that Xam definitely told me I have once he just doesn't remember.
Anyways put together a list of movies that you'd consider your favorites. It can be 10 films long, it can be 80 films long, I don't give a flying fuck. It's almost Christmas or whatever just..just tell me what you like. Thank you.

Dark City is probably still my favorite movie.
If I had to make a list:
Dark City In Bruges The Godfather Seven Samurai Goodfellas Nightmare Before Christmas House of the Devil Groundhog Day Once The Apartment Pulp Fiction Eternal Sunshine High Fidelity Spirited Away Die Hard Shaun of the Dead Amelie
Obviously no order to this. Weird list!

I grade these by how hard it is to pass up when it comes on TV. Movies I won't change if they're on: Godfather 1&2 Rocky Goodfellas (this is probably #1 actually) Star Wars 4-6 Silence of the Lambs (it gets funnier every time) Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome Robocop LotR trilogy Stepbrothers If I put Empire Strikes Back on, I almost never make it off Hoth before I fall asleep. Similar with Fellowship of the Ring. Never make it out of the Shire.

Eternal Sunshine is still my favorite by far. It would take a lot of thought and effort to pull together a list from there.
I've said it before, I've completely fallen off of watching movies over the past 5 years or so unfortunately. Damn kids.

The first Dumb and Dumber is so great. I like a lot of Mel Brooks and the Austin Powers movies, too, and other really intentionally dumb stuff. I tend to memorize and repeat the dialog to those movies the most.
Oh, let's not forget Airplane!

I went three times, and I don't think I've seen any other movie in theaters more than once.

The title to this thread is slowly killing me. It’s genuinely a typo. I meant to just type “movie” but now I’m gonna make it even better

Oh gosh... I need to wake up. How can I forget Back to the Future? It's probably easily in my top 3.
Also, all the early Spielberg/Spielberg-involved hits, as well. How I glazed over those is shameful.

I simply cannot take serious that imdb list so long as The Dark Knight is considered one of the top ten films of all time.
