That's awesome. I saw him open for Stella (Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter, David Wain) at the Vic like 10 years ago.
I think he's the only famous comedian I've seen before they were big.

The Good Place season premiere was great. I'm very excited to see where they take this.

"it was his signature song, it went to the #1 and the unemployment rate skyrocketed"
"If you don't get the right kind of sandwich for me, I'll shoot you"
"and the cocaine they had, I wouldn't give it to a dog"
"there's nothing worse than a hillbilly with a hit record"
man rock music sucks ass now

Slowly catching up on Rick and Morty's new season. It's so fucking good.
Also, actually pretty impressed with The Orville. The third episode is shockingly smart, imho. It feels a lot like ST:TNG laced with comedy.

I feel like it's improving... or I'm just impressed enough with the rest of the production it hasn't bothered me much since the first episode.

the sad horseman show was pretty good this season even though it sort of didn't feel like a full season because the main characters barely interacted and Bojack didn't have much of an arc
but some real fantastic stuff in there

"yeah, it's a metaphor for Trump running, ok..." *rolls eyes*

Halt and Catch Fire episode last night ruined me.
One of the most effectively poignant and crushing hours of television I've ever seen. It's amazing that this is essentially still the same show as season one.

St Vincent sounded great on Colbert.
Los Ageless was kinda weird without a proper backing band but the dancers...

I just binged S3 of Rick and Morty and it was very funny front to back but it's become one of those things where the fanbase makes me like it less than I inherently would, and at least four times an ep they make a joke where I'm like, 'Oh some assholes are gonna misinterpret that and live their lives by this one phrase.'

When he said "You're not evil. You're smart" I'm pretty sure I've never cringed so hard in my life. It was a pretty good season but the finale did very little for me. There were some standout episodes, like the Citadel one, or the mindblowers episode, but for the most part I didn't like it as much as the first two. I'm fairly certain that if they go back to the detached episode to episode style like season 1, I will go back to enjoying this show just as much as I used to. It's a very different show now, and I'm not positive if it's for the better or not.

I cannot believe how great this new season of Curb is so far. If this keeps up it will be the best season. I love how they're giving JB Smoove so much more screen time than before.

no spoilers but the song choice was so brilliant at the end of "Vice Principles" this week
Curb is good too. the increased budget is so goofy it feels like a reboot not a new season

This might have been asked or mentioned before, but is anyone watching The Good Place? I got really into it over the weekend and caught all the way up for this week. I think it's a lot of fun.
