I love it and I know rango watched S1.
I've been very impressed with this current season and am excited to see if they've finally settled into a premise or if there will be another hard-right in another episode or two

It makes me pretty happy that they've consistently done things differently than I expect at multiple points in the season. |

I think season 1 was good but a little one note because the twist was p obvious a couple episodes in but I think this season has been 100% fantastic.

I like Jimmy Fallon just fine, but it seems like he always has the same 20 guests on the show, and they just rotate. Miley Cyrus was on for a week last week, and Margot Robbie was on last night.
(I don't watch the whole show, just some of the interview clips and the games with guests)

I watched SNL last night for the first time in a long while. It was OK overall, I shut it off after Update. Kumail's opening monologue/routine was great (I always hate it whenever it's a musical number with the cast). Kate McKinnon had some hilariously bizarre lines in that film fest roundtable sketch ("Those nuns are fast."). Update had some good jokes, my favorite was probably Michael Che's "all holidays matter" remark after calling out Trump's 'War on Christmas' bullshit.
I know most of you hate P!nk, and I didn't like the song she did, but I think she's cool. I'd have a drink with her.

Are we including Netflix here? If so, I finished American Vandal last night. Surprisingly very good, and kept us interested through the whole thing. Not-so-subtle message, but still very good overall.

I've never paid attention to P!NK, but I thought the first song she did on SNL was excellent. I particularly loved that she joined her back-up singers towards the end of the number, ensuring that the camera would linger on them for a while. Nice way to give them props on national TV.

Maggie Gyllenhaal's performance on The Deuce is pretty outstanding and her character arc is easily the best on that show. Really happy with how they're handling it. Show is otherwise engaging, a few misses but the way the show successfully evokes the time period (at least what I figure it was like) outweighs them.

Anyone watch the Americans? We tend to get caught up when it's on Prime. Holy shit. Just finished Season 5. This show just gets better and better. Wish it wasn't ending but I'm glad it is at the same time.

I think alot of board people watch the Americans, I think there's even a thread for it.
I'm pretty much the only person who thinks the show peaked around season 2, but I'm fine with that.

My Aunt's boyfriend and very likely soon to be fiancé is the sound engineer for the Daily Show (and was previously that for the Tonight Show and The Roots). Still haven't gotten there myself, though.
