Third season of Broadchurch was terrific. Watching it made me more excited about Jodie Whittaker taking over as Doctor Who.

That's good they are finding a way to keep the cast and crew employed.

tbh killing Frank off-screen and then letting the season pan out with Claire going mad with power might be the best ending they could hope for.

I thought you might go for it with that Rory Gilmore-looking lead 😁

Re House of Cards, looks like the last season will only feature 8 episodes

Finished S2 of Search Party last night. After a mostly unmemorable S1, I thought S2 was positively riveting (though the supporting cast still comes off as cartoonish at times).

New Black Mirror season out December 29. Weird marketing from them after having 12 days of hype (6 posters, 6 trailers, one for each episode) to then wait 3 weeks to release it. And now that reviews can be published there are spoilers everywhere. But nonetheless, can't wait for the new season.

I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet. Sounds like a lot of people have had copies of at least a few episodes for a while now.

Hey does anyone know how to use Amazon Prime video with a Firestick? I'd like my parents to be able to use my login but when I was home over Thanksgiving there wasn't an obvious way to set it up and I haven't really found what I'm looking for online either

I don't have anything to say about Black Mirror or Firesticks but I wanted to tell everyone about the Netflix Japan show Kantaro the Sweet Tooth Salaryman, the story of an uptight, perfectionist book salesman who is hiding an addiction to sweets and uses his sales trips as a cover to visit various dessert shops around Tokyo; half of each episode is the bizarre comedy of him hiding his habit from his boss and coworkers and half is extraordinarily-filmed food porn breaking down desserts from actual Tokyo restaurants. He has full-body orgasms and is teleported to 'Sweets Heaven' whem he finally gets to eat sweets. It is phenomenal.

Just re-discovered a really great Icelandic cooking show via Vimeo last night. My wife and I had watched all available episodes when we flew Icelandair to Paris, and it's quirky and very Icelandic and also has the countryside as a backdrop. Anyway, here's the first episode if anyone was actually interested:

So I'm catching up on Mr Robot, just finished episode 7 of the new season last night, and this season is kind of blowing me away. Last season I liked but thought was definitely weaker than the first, but this one I think is becoming my favorite season so far. It really feels like everything was leading up to this point, like everything was just a precursor for whats happening right now on it.
Have two more episodes to watch tonight then the finale is next week I believe. I'm excited.

Surprise news of the day is Atlanta is already coming back in February. I thought we had to wait another year due to the Star Wars movie

I binged that all pretty much as soon as they put it on Hulu and I really can't wait for more episodes. I am very glad it comes back soon

We're about 2/3 of the way through the second season of The Crown already. It's such a well done show, and I'm a fan of how this season has a handful of episodes with the queen essentially a secondary character.
