kinda funny to see how frank lloyd wright's monona terrace and taliesen house were given the midwest treatment with super tacky carpeting and furniture. Pretty sure all the furnishings in Taliesin are FLW-designed or period pieces 😬 and the Monona Terrace carpet is based on a FLW design (though I think they've been updated a few times since they were originally installed, I remember them being blue at one point?) |

Man it rocks to watch Top Chef and be like “oh I’ve been there!” to the market and all of restaurants lol. Everyone was kinda lame about how cooked the beef was I thought? Maybe I’m just too lax about that lol. Maybe the texture was also bad or something. Also why didn’t they wait for the woman who was sick to do the judging? Seems insane to me.
Some really good looking dishes this week, I really wanted to try that Cajun sauced potato thing in the first challenge.
