The Mandalorian is just awful television. If this show wasn't affiliated with Star Wars it would have never made it past the pilot. I'll finish the season because I feel obligated to see this through, but this is painful to watch.

Watchmen wrapped up season 1 nicely, and set themselves up well for season 2 at the same time. I know I'm biased but what a score, excellent all season long.

Watchmen finale was absolutely wonderful. a few small bummers about side stories that were never tied up, but i know there's a TON of canonical backstory that they hid online and in the official podcast so i guess i'll start digging into that.
would love for them to continue with more seasons, but this one also works as a complete stand-alone series with no sequel and the creator said he currently has no plans to do more.
phenomenal work all around, best show of 2019.

Re: Watchmen I can't imagine watching Angela running around as Doctor Manhattan would be as satisfying as the ending was. Nothing ever ends, though. So we're getting another season. |

im assuming/hoping if they ever do another season, it'll be completely unrelated to the direct events of this one with new characters and some different throwbacks (nite owl and maybe someone who's a descendant of the comedian, for example)
both the graphic novel and this season have so much alluded backstory that you could easily make up something else in history that doesnt need to even touch this ending

That was fine. Didn't find the finale or series as a whole particularly spectacular and still think Dr. M is a moron but it wrapped up nicely.
