Makes sense to me.
Good cause = good songs
For the entertainment of soulless Musers = bad songs

you'd think they'd take the hint if that's what fans are choosing for their setlists

you'd think they'd take the hint if that's what fans are choosing for their setlists Matt said that if it went well they would add some songs back in

I bought a $20 lawn ticket during that Live Nation sale, but I don't know if I want to deal with the hassle of going to Tinley again.

Depeche Mode usually has a great setlist for festivals where you could be somewhere else for the first half when they go heavy on their woof new album du jour

First Broken Social Scene non-festival setlist of the Hug of Thunder tour: www.setlist.fm/setlist/broken-social-scene/2017/the-state-theatre-ithaca-ny-6be21ada.htmlCan't be real picky with my first time seeing BSS, but was really hoping for Mouthguards of the Apocalypse. Still got time before Sunday. Other than that, excellent setlist. Tho if it were up to me I'd remove World Sick and replace it with two other songs, like Forced to Love or Vanity Pale Kids.

I know they were rehearsing Mouthguards (there was a photo of the sheet music they posted while rehearsing a few weeks back), I'm sure it will get worked into the set. Pretty good setlist otherwise.

It's too bad that the BSS show is the same night as the Revolution Street Fest with Real Estate and Alex G

War on Drugs played 15 songs last night and couldn't manage to fit in *one* from Slave Ambient or prior. Sigh. A bit less excited for the show now.

Was just coming here to discuss that setlist, the first real show of the year for them. It's a bummer about Slave Ambient, although I only expected 1-2 really. I could definitely see them throwing a couple back in. In Chains (Live Debut) Pain An Ocean in Between the Waves Strangest Thing Holding On Red Eyes Knocked Down (Live Debut) Nothing to Find (Live Debut) You Don't Have to Go Up All Night (Live Debut) Burning Eyes to the Wind Under the Pressure Clean Living (Live Debut) In Reverse This show is going to be too much for me to even handle. It's just banger after banger.

The qualifications for 'banger' sure have expanded.

Haha don't even try to tell me An Ocean in Between the Waves is not a banger.

Haha don't even try to tell me An Ocean in Between the Waves is not a banger. The setlist's singular banger. Lots of pre-LitD bangers not getting played tho

I'm seeing them in Central Park too which means people are gonna be talking through the whole thing, so long-winded jams are really just gonna drag. Meh.

that's a good setlist but they should be required to play arms like boulders tho They closed the Philly main set with Arms Like Boulders. Hoping we get that tonight too and it wasn't just a hometown thing. No Slave Ambient songs still bugs me.

Fleet Foxes have been adding Montezuma to a handful of their encores so I'm really hoping that happens on Tuesday.

Fleet Foxes have been adding Montezuma to a handful of their encores so I'm really hoping that happens on Tuesday. They did it when I saw them last week but prefaced it with "we are off tomorrow so we are gonna do an extra song"

I want it so bad, so it probably isn't gonna happen. Though I've had pretty solid setlist luck at the Chicago Theater in the past, so we'll see how it goes.

Fleet Foxes played "Drops In The River" at their last show. Hopefully we get that tonight.
