Neader come on I love Kanye’s music as well, but there’s nothing wrong with criticizing his problematic political views. Yeah I 100% agree I'm just saying when Kanye supports Trump it literally is not policy related at all. Kanye went from producing > rapping > fashion and the whole time people told him nah you can't be a rapper because you're a producer or can't break into fashion because you're a rapper etc. Kanye's always been big about breaking down walls and destroying exclusivity and elitism, which is why he's been talking a lot more about classisim now than racism. Trump is definitely an elitist in the traditional sense but him defying all odds and becoming president when everyone thought it was a joke is breaking down barriers and getting rid of "elitism" in Washington, for better or worse. No doubt he sees somewhat of a kindled spirit in Trump for being told he can't be a president because he's a celebrity - and Kanye can relate to that. I don't know the other two well enough to make a comment on that tho, admittedly. But it's fair to point out the latest actual political stance on an issue we've seen Kanye take is flying out to DC to go to the March for Our Lives rally. |

Idk man posting Scott Adams videos and specially praising Candace Owens is kind of taking a political stance. Pretty sure Kanye is "on his Trump shit" for more reasons than just relating to Trump's path to president

with candance it was just that he likes her way of thinking? i mean yeah that is definitely problematic but it's not like he's saying he supports her specific policies.
i still think the worst thing he's done in terms of this was tweeting that bill cosby was innocent.

I really feel like you are stretching here. Owens is specifically a political commentator, I'm not sure how you can interpret someone saying they like the way she thinks as anything other than them agreeing on opinions? It's not like he said "I disagree with her, but I like how she thinks".
Not to mention that while he hasn't outright said it, a lot of his tweets around that one heavily imply he agrees with her
