Via IG Soooo... I got the answer wrong. I am now keeping my word and posting this picture selected by @genericigusername I’m challenging my friends who are logical and smart thinkers, to have a crack at guessing the answer to the riddle below. When you think you know, Private message me the answer. If you are not going to follow the instructions after you lose, don't bother playing. Your turn! Read the riddle. If your answer is incorrect, I can choose any of your photos and you have to post it along with the riddle. If you answer correctly, I'll write your name in the comments (with a trophy emoji). Riddle: It's 7:00 AM. You are asleep and there is a sudden knock on the door. Behind the door are your parents who came to have breakfast. In your fridge are bread, milk (pasteurized), juice, and a jar of jam. To answer, what will you open first? * Answer directly through Private message only please. Answers in the comment section will be deleted. ** Note: It’s not what you think Answer is your dms
So does this count or not as it completely shatters the hypothetical world that riddles are centered around?

It's a bad one that relies on assumptions about how you personally react. And switching the reference of you, mid riddle.
For instance, I ran into it on Facebook, and already had the chat with that person open, so I didn't have to open anything to respond. They were irritated with my logic.

See, I wouldn't consider this a riddle at all. it's more of a trick than a riddle. a small but important distinction. riddles are based around the idea of a hypothetical situation, to break that destroys the riddle.

i feel like most riddles on social media nowadays are just bad tricks or plays on words but since no one gets the answer right everyone thinks that makes it a riddle

sick2b should be mean to neader in this thread to get him to leave too Except that I don't mind riddles, polls nor Neader - quite the opposite. Also, Neader has a thick skin, not an over-inflated ego, and also and most importantly, Neader IS nice And there is no way I will ever be mean to nice people

counterpoint: his love of mayo indicates a deep moral failing Well, as a self-declared, and unashamed, fan of the white stuff myself, this would be like saying that I had MYSELF some deep moral failing

Hahahhaa
If only no one in the world could have a bigger moral failing than his/her love of mayo... I'd even be ready to contemplate a mayo-free life!

Calling mayo "the white stuff" is super insulting the good white stuff Apparently someone who isn't found of 'mayo(nnaise) came up with 65 "synonyms" (some of them are ridiculously off, e.g. custard or tahini) I like "egg sauce" though www.powerthesaurus.org/mayonnaise
