Two board darlings sailed through with little resistance, with VW taking the FRESH JAR OF SKIPPY Region and The National winning the SEVEN NATION ARMY Regional.
But only what can move on. What's a message board to do?

Hard pick but VW was my favorite set of the weekend. I liked The National playing boxer better but that wasn’t really in contention here.

oof. i love the National way more than VW and both bands played their normal setlists (mostly) at both the fest and their aftershows.
i guess VW doing A Punk three times and then playing some new stuff on an iphone is slightly more vote-worthy than the National playing their slowest jams at 12:30 am on a thursday night and putting the front row of the metro to sleep?
