By some complete miracle, the Hawks will not be playing an outdoor game next year!
And since it has worked to this point, I will say I am very doubtful of the Preds and Rinne and expect them to lose tonight

I can't recall a more visually unappealing SCF than Preds vs Penguins. All that yellow just hurts my eyes. The hockey was pretty entertaining though.

I'm impressed by the Preds ability to bounce back after two tough loses in games 1 and 2. These next 2 or 3 games should be pretty entertaining.

ive never watched pro hockey in my life but ive been watching this series because the girl I'm into is a huge penguins fan and ive been enjoying it way more than I thought I would enjoy hockey

Next few weeks will get very interesting, with the Vegas draft followed by the regular draft.
Rumors for the Hawks say Kruger is basically gone, and Hjalmarsson and Hossa are potentially up for grabs as well.

At least by beloved Sens gave the Penguins a run for their money, fighting till he 2nd OT of the 7th game
Stopped watching the final after that, though looks like it was a bit of a thriller..

We're a couple of weeks away from the start of the season... Does anyone want to join the fantasy league again this year? I'll send out an email to last year's players, since most of them aren't active on the new board.
If anyone is interested, let me know. Season starts first week of October, so the draft would be at the end of this month.

I'm in. I won't be getting divorced* this season so I should be on top of my team. My friend who played last year is also interested in returning.
*The season does run until next Spring, so you never know.

Nice, should be a good game, Columbus should be respectable this year.
I thought it was very awesome that the Hawks signed Brian Bickell to the one day contract so he could retire as a Hawk. He deserves it.

Got to see my very first NHL outdoors game last night in Ottawa.... Montreal vs Ottawa.... even sweeter than the Sens' 3-0 victory was to get to see my idol Mario Lemieux (alongside Guy Lafleur)... but man, never thought when I purchased these tickets for my bf and I that outside temperature would be -4F (-20C) by the time the game ended... good thing I had 5 layers + a bunch of hand and toe warmers... still... took me a good 15 mins to de-ice my toes in a café after the game
