my extra for kacey dropped after 8pm. so i messaged the people on craigslist looking for one and put out the word to a few friends. long story short - three people contacted me and they all flaked. one girl said she was seeing tickets online for $30 and flat-out refused to pay face value because she knew she'd get a better deal. sure, girl.
i enjoyed the show, though. the kids in front of me were pretty annoying, but then they left about an hour in and that made things much better from where i stood.

Kacey was perfect. Thrilled that I got to see her twice in smaller venues in this section of her career. The opening DJs were pretty fun too, not at all what I expected from an opening DJ set.

His mother was there. Not sure about him though I thought for sure a duet would happen during Ruston's set because he had a second acoustic guitar up there for the whole set that was never touched, but the set was amazing anyways. |

Epic IDLES set. Awesome to meet Groovy and sadbird tonight! Awesome meeting you as well! I had an absolute blast at the show. I was one of those people that didn't know APTBS's in the round schtick so that was neat when it unfolded inches away from me. Unfortunately, I lost a shoe during IDLES first song and did my best to stay in the rowdiness but felt it best to find a bar to lean on once I lost feeling in my foot. Luckily, it was the bar the guitarist stood on during one of their in-crowd excursions so I have absolutely nothing to complain about |
