I think at this point, the chances of The Strokes having an after-show are next to nothing. Having said that, the Saturday night Metro show is almost a lock for Kacey? Or maybe I just can't imagine not doing Lolla in some capacity. What indication has there been that it's a lock for Kacey other than that she doesn't have a show Saturday?

Idk just wishful thinking I guess. She plays the fest Sunday and they seem to be trending on subs this year for their shows.

There’s already an aftershow I’m expecting Chance to be at on Saturday, the one that starts with F and ends with rancis and the Lights.

Pretty happy that I don’t have to do any aftershows this year yeah weird feeling but kinda nice we're pretty sure we can swing both Friday and Sunday so that's pretty much everything i was interested in anyway

Oh come on. Am I gonna have to go to this fest to see the Strokes? I was about to write "I'd honestly be fine with paying the $90 if there was a single other band on Thursday I wanted to see", but apparently I am stuck in 2009 because a Thursday ticket is $160.
Water appears to be the option of choice for most people, but if you choose greeter/box office, even if you have to take the late shift you will guaranteed be done in time to see the headliners.

If it's Chance on Saturday, pretty sure it'll be tickets only at the box office.

Imagine feeling that you needed to keep these shows hidden for 4 months from the lineup announcement

I mean it doesn’t really make sense for theme to book headliners for aftershows when only Saturday is sold out.

It's the same problem as GCJ, except his Chicago Theater shows are after the fest instead of before. His fan base has already spent money to see him once (if not twice) this year, and he's not far removed from playing small clubs in Chicago.

We should get that last aftershow this week. Kacey? Tame? Strokes?
It's gonna be Chainsmokers.

They'll probably tease the metro show tomorrow and will announce it Wednesday at 10. There are still a few decent venues that have openings throughout the week so I wonder if there'll be more than just the metro having "surprise" shows this year? I don't like it, but I can see The Strokes playing HoB Wednesday night.

not an aftershow (i dont think the fest is directly promoting it?)
but Chevelle is at the revolution brewery on Thursday night of the fest to promote a new collaboration beer. they will be in attendance but the event page wont say if they're performing or just hanging out
i'll be there regardless
