I'm still getting pretty good use out of it. Holly Herndon last week, Laura Stevenson tomorrow, possibly Nots next week

I would very much be interested in it but my issue, as always, is my damn work schedule. I think having a wider musical palate now helps too

i used to. i stopped primarily because i wasn't good at predicting what would or wouldn't be posted. i wouldn't buy tickets for a show because i was sure the show would get on jukely. then it wouldn't. or the opposite would happen that i'd buy tickets because the venue wasn't often on there, and obviously the show would be up there. it just wasn't worth it to me with how my showgoing has dwindled over the last couple years.

there needs to be an option for (me, only?) available in my area, but I would if I was computer and app literate.

I would use it if I moved back to Chicago. There were enough bored days at work where I decided I would walk to Schubas that night and see whatever was playing as long as it was under $15.

I do it if I lived in Chicago and wasn't married and didn't have a dog.

Jukely in Denver is awful. There's only a handful of venues that participate, and it's mostly shitty EDM.

I remember when drunk Tweet advised me to get a gym membership over Jukely. I still have my gym membership to this day.

not enough wretched shows on their list to make it worth the price. also just rely on local contests for tickets to everything

Yeasayer is on there too who I haven't seen

Also how does this stand-by thing work? I put myself on the stand-by for Empire of the Sun for shits and giggles They have a system where if you trade in tickets, keep your account active for a year or whatever, etc., you build up points. They give people on standby the spots based on those points. You pretty much have to hope either someone with a spot drops theirs, or the Metro decides to give them extra spots to use.

I had an active subscription for about nine months in 2015/16. When I was shuttling between NYC and Chicago twice a month, I got my money's worth out of it, but mostly for shows in Chicago.
When my travel to Chicago dwindled in summer 2016, I quickly realized that most of the shows I wanted to see in NYC had become impossible to get into. I was always on standby and never getting in. I might give it another go next year and see if it's any easier to get spots.

I use it and usually get my money's worth each month. Sometimes not so much, but I think it's been worth it for the most part.

I usually end up at Metro and Smart Bar once a month so I feel like I usually get my value for $25. It would be nice if they had more spots for Thalia shows tho

I have had my subscription on pause for a while, but I get tremendous value out of it post-festival season. Tons of shows in October/November alone.

Got an email from Jukely this morning saying they’re resuming service in New York City this week.

Was able to log in again, no shows for Chicago still, but the NYC ones are up. Even a few decent ones (Robbie Fulks, Magnetic Fields).
