Lillard just put up 61 and now the Blazers control their own destiny.

Seems like this has been pretty entertaining. First time I regret not having cable. I'd at least be able to catch some games on network TV before.

Haven't watched all of these consistently, but a whole bunch of the games have been super entertaining.

My Too Early Take is that I can't see anyone beating the Bucks this year

This is very fun basketball. When I bought 2k 6 weeks ago Portland was the team I picked for my season and I was not this good.

Would help if Portland could get a fucking rebound.

Damn that was intense. Hopefully Portland can win the play-in, because a Lakers-Blazers series would be super fun. Also first round playoff schedule is out and there's games staring at 12:30 and going till 11:00 each day which rules.

I thought Melo lost them the game when he bonked that last 3.

I'm pretty upset we got robbed of this potentially legendary Suns/Blazers game because Giannis had to go and headbutt someone

What would’ve been the over/under for combined Lillard/Booker points? 95?

Mayberry is not holding back:
From his rigid on-court systems to his no-nonsense off-court policies, Boylen tried to be in total control of the team. Finally, after two decades as an NBA assistant, it was his show, to be run his way. But he couldn’t get out of his own way.
Boylen had contentious relationships with multiple players, unusual run-ins with opposing coaches and tactics that agitated fans and broadcasters alike. His personality was tough to absorb, abrasive and for some, hard to believe.
In a statement announcing his decision to fire Boylen after a “comprehensive evaluation,” new executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas called him “a great human being.”
Others say they saw Boylen for who he is, a bullshitter, a bully, a sycophant. His greatest success as Bulls coach was simply getting the job.
In nearly two seasons in charge, Boylen netted the Bulls a 39-84 record and a laughingstock reputation around the league.

It's been so long that I kind of blocked out all of his player development failures and only remembered the silly stuff. Honestly can't imagine a coach doing a worse job with Lauri/Carter than Boylen did last year.

This is definitely going to be the most interesting playoffs in a long time. More parity than we've had in quite a while, no real home court advantages, and teams not having to travel throws a bit of a new dynamic in, everyone's going to be more rested and at the top of their game
My homer pick is Rockets over Raptors in 7 in the finals
My non homer pick is Clippers over Raptors in 6 in the finals
