Two guys who love to play hero ball on the same team? I'm sure that's gonna work out just fine.

Other basketball knowers can correct me but they basically swapped not great contracts and picks right?

Bold move for Houston, but I like it. They needed to do something big to stay relevant in the west.

Bold move for Houston, but I like it. If that Paul-harden relationship is garbage this is a plus for the rockets for sure

Other basketball knowers can correct me but they basically swapped not great contracts and picks right? Houston gave up two first round picks to unload Paul's contract in what looks like their attempt at a win now move. OKC was gonna pay the luxury tax anyway so they traded the better player for the picks. That's how I read it at least.

What team with a movable Star is in need of picks? I’m sure Paul has somebody in mind he’d like to bring to OKC.
Also, Russ having shooters he can kick to should be fun.

Other basketball knowers can correct me but they basically swapped not great contracts and picks right? CP3 and Russ make about the exact same, but CP3's contract is up a year earlier.
Also reading a lot of stuff that OKC was trying to do right by Russ and Russ wanted to go to the Rockets. I think that played in a lot, they maybe could have gotten a pick or two without taking on the CP3 contract if they were just going for best possible deal (they would have had to take on money but probably not anything as bad as that Cp3 contract)

It's a really bold move, but I'm not sure Russ works well on the Rockets. It's just a weird mix of guys.

The Thunder have done a damn good job getting such an incredible return. Still crazy to me that they had Durant, Westbrook and Harden on the same roster and didn't win a championship.

westbrook hosts an annual comedy show every summer in okc, but it’s in tulsa this year and it’s tonight. that could be awkward and weird.

15 first round picks over the next 7 years. That's nuts.
Also loved this line from the Athletic write-up:
Owners of four of the 10 highest usage rate seasons in NBA history join up to … share the ball?

Just got tickets to the Rockets season opener against the Bucks. I'm pumped for that

this year we're splitting out thunder season tix with 2 other couples. long story short there's always 1 marquee game that doesn't get divided up between all of us and i get it since it's my account and this season it's the rockets' only appearance in okc. super stoked about that since it's westbrook's return to okc. that's gonna be the biggest ovation ever heard in that arena.

That’s a huge bummer. ACL, Achilles, and quad all torn in the same leg in a couple years.
Anyone want to go to some Bulls games this season?

Anyone want to go to some Bulls games this season? My buddy is debating a season ticket package right now. This would be the second Chicago sports team package in a year I sign on in not even a year
