Apparently people had been grabbing pieces off it for years? Weird. Still got mine from 2014 somewhere, only god can judge me

It's not about the music. It's the experience.

Officially sold out now. In a year where festival ticket sales are slow (to put it mildly) for pretty much every fest (including Coachella and Lolla) it is awesome to see this thing do so well. I know Phish fans have a lot to do with it, but this lineup is the most 'Bonnaroo' lineup in a long time...hopefully this encourages other fests to get back to their roots and deviate away from the generic garbage lineups we've seen the last few years.

I’m sure Post Malone, Gambino and Cardi B helped move a lot of tickets as well. While the lineup is an improvement from the last few years there’s still a good amount of trash on it and it’s nowhere close to being as good as 2013 and 2014.

Someone get BRBR back here, we need to have words. i dont think he went this year (cause i definitely wouldve been interested in the +1 god pass again ) i remember our first year, it was a solid 4 hours or so to get in once we got to manchester because a tanker exploded on the highway. still not as bad as what's being reported on reddit/twitter but also nowadays every festival is reported as a catastrophe on reddit/twitter so ehhhhhh

Apparently, mud is a major component of why it's so slow, which, with Bonnaroo, fair.

Ugh and the new 'arch' is so so so bad Yeah it looks terrible. I can't believe they couldn't at least make it the same shape as the arch. It is just an ugly video board.

Everyone is getting (understandably) upset at the people cutting these lines...
I'm not sure these cutters realize that they're most likely going to be camping right around the people they cut directly in front of. I can't imagine that's going to end well in some circumstances...

One of the things that I loved about Bonnaroo was that I got almost no cell service on the farm, so I was forced to completely disconnect from the outside world for four days. I'm guessing they've improved cell service and WiFi options dramatically since I was there last though, so I'm guessing word will make its way around.

They'll probably put that message up on video screens around the park too. Regardless though, it just seems like a bad idea to do this at a music fest today even if you do announce it ahead of time.

It seemed to me that people were having fun there, yeah. Also heard they were arresting a lot more people and whatnot. How was it?
