It was a very "bro" crowd compared to previous years I went. Groop camping this year was the worst since rooballz merged with another groop that partied til 4am every night and would blast dubstep music at 7am-ish.

Bonnaroo was bittersweet. I had a good time but the music and crowd were not up to par and it was impossible to ignore. Our groups camp was ransacked but the next day we decided whoever did it left more stuff than we brought, seems like he rummaged through other people's things in our living room which was open and empty. Then my phone was pickpocketed at the water station. I guess it happened to quite a few people. The Grove was full of ravers and trash. I'm probably not going back.

Oh I saw chance. He was better than abel who was totally boring. Lord is a joke and has no business at a festival like this. Few more years down the road and they'll eliminate instruments and set breaks completely. Everyone just uses video screens and house lights anyway.

Someone dumped bags from another camp in our campsite to go through them. No one was at our site at the time. My group popped in at 10:30 that night everything looked normal then we were back at 12:30 because it was cold camp was a mess. |

So apparently attendance was 65k this year. Obviously much better than last year, and it means Roo isn't going away any time soon. But I feel like they were probably hoping for better after going all out with the headliners. Kind of hard to see this fest recapturing its former glory unless they do a complete U-turn with the lineup again.

This is most likely my last Roo, and I don't regret going even though I kept bitching about the lineup most of the time. There were plenty of things to do outside of watching sets, and I think that's what makes Roo strive. Also, first year for me seeing the new amenities and I applaud Roo for finally adding them (still think it's bullshit charging $10 for a shower). Unfortunately you can definitely see the Live Nation takeover including them completely removing the iconic "?" on the which stage. The crowd makeup was terrible and the only good merch item was a New Era Bonnaroo hat which sold out super quick.

FWIW when I was going to Roo (2012-2014) there were always stories of people's shit getting stolen, especially in GA. I remember the festival advised locking valuables in your car and placing a lock on your tent as well. I don't think that is anything new.

Theives at Bonnaroo is nothing new. It just adds to the frustration of everything else. Unless Bonnaroo books a Primavera-esque lineup, I don't see myself going back anytime soon.

I don't remember anyone ever coming on here and talking about getting stuff stolen at Bonnaroo. Not saying it hasn't always happened on some level, but this definitely tells me it's becoming more of an issue.

Nik got pickpocketed outside of groop. I just had all of my shit scattered in the tent and some stuff outside with nothing stolen...just a shredded poncho.

Never had an issue any year I went.
Well, one year my uncle had his wallet stolen. Made a up sign, started asking neighbors if they saw anything.
Then we found it in our cooler.
