Take this at face value but I’m listening to the Black Keys get interviewed on Joe Rogan right now (don’t @ me about any part of that), and they said that they thought Life is Beautiful was going to be their last fest for a long long time and that they hate fests.

So the fest run isn't until 2021, got it.

the Black Keys hate fests. is there anything about them that they didn't rip off of Jack White?

They might want to reconsider that stance considering how bad their arena tour is selling.

Coldplay are rumored to be doing a festival tour next summer. If they aren’t doing a stadium tour next year, then I could see Lolla booking them.

I'd be good with that.

I would likely never pay what it costs to see Coldplay in an arena but I would at least sort of like to see them, so this seems ideal

I haven’t seen them since 2012. I balked at the Solider Field show a few years ago because I didn’t what to spend over $100 for a nosebleed seat.

Coldplay- Red Hot Chili Peppers- Post Malone- Lana Del Ray Lizzo- Skrillex -Vampire Weekend- Marshmello
VW could end up at Pitchfork instead, but they seem likely for several other live nation-C3 fest so I put them on.

No way VW come back after only 2 years. I also just don't believe RHCP could come back AGAIN relatively soon.
Otherwise I'd say your other 6 are pretty possible/likely...though SURELY Lizzo takes some time off. She has been touring nonstop for yearssssss. I love her but even I'm getting a little fatigued, I can only imagine how exhausted she is.

Would be 4 years for RHCP and that’s the same gap they had between 2012 and 2016.

Is Lolla really ready for a fourpeat headliner, though?

It's going to happen, just a matter of when.

RATM * Coldplay * Billie * Frank Ocean MCR * Lana * Skrillex * Lizzo
I really just don't know who to put where Lizzo or Frank would be

Maybe Martix Garrix instead of Lizzo or Frank.

I really don’t think that Lana is going to come back to play the same spot or lower than she did 4 years ago.

I really don’t think that Lana is going to come back to play the same spot or lower than she did 4 years ago. Swap Frank with EDM artist and move Lana to 3-4. Then move every else down one I guess?

Those headliners seem gigantic We would for sure have a 2018 sub situation if this was even close to correct

If the $$ is right I don’t see why Lana wouldn’t headline the north again.

The Killers are releasing an album next year, so they could be a contender to return.

I'm gonna be in the minority here but I have exactly 0 problems with The Killers returning for the millionth time. I always have so much fun at their set, they put on a good show and it's fun to just sing along to a set where you know pretty much every word, and so does the crowd. Also Dustland Fairytale is one of the most beautiful but saddest songs I know and I always tear up when he plays it.
