Pretty sure they're just counting the current Charlotte franchise when considering any records.

According to Basketball Reference, they're counting the "Pelicans" franchise as anything that happened in New Orleans after the Hornets moved there in '02. i.e. Anthony Davis only had to pass guys like David West and Chris Paul for most of his records. Guys like Ryan Anderson and Jrue Holiday actually rank high in a lot of their record books, which looks pretty weird.
They're counting the "Hornets" franchise as the old Charlotte Hornets (Dell Curry, Alonzo, Rice, Bogues, etc.) along with the Bobcats years and the new Hornets teams, which doesn't really make sense since those are two different franchises.
I guess we're going to have the same issue eventually when the Supersonics return to Seattle. They'll probably do the same thing and count the Thunder as their own franchise (so Westbrook can have alllllll the records) and make the Seattle record books date back to the old Sonics teams with Payton, Kemp, etc.

Yeah, he beat Dell Curry's record. Essentially, Kemba beats the Charlotte-based scoring record. I do not believe they're counting New Orleans-based stats, but maybe when they were the Hornets. It is kinda goofy.

If we’re talking Kemba homes, I think Denver and San Antonio make the most sense.
Jamal Murray is really good, but I’m not convinced he’s a PG. He’d probably be better suited as a bench combo guard “bucket getter” type. Basically, move on from Barton and give that role to Murray. A 3 guard rotation of Kemba, Harris and Murray would be real nice. They might be feeling the pressure to make a big move after disappointing this year, too.
San Antonio seems like a no brainer though. A Kemba/(healthy) Kawhi/Aldridge core would almost instantly make them a top 3 contender in the West. And it seems like it would be pretty easy to clear the space if Parker and Manu ever retire and/or they could move on from some of their other old guys (Gasol, Gay, etc.).

Some of the ejections this year have been so frustrating. The Warriors and Bucks were playing a really great game and then Durant gets thrown out. Now the game sucks.

I didn't watch the game, but it looks like Rolo had another classic ejection last night, too.

Clearly Lavine used up all of his talent in that one game.

Bulls are now projecting to the 9th pick. What a waste of a season.

Just looked up the last 15 years of standings, and the Bulls current winning percentage of .338 would have gotten the 6th pick on average (as high as the 3rd pick once and as low as the 8th pick twice).
The Bucks won 15 more games than the Bulls this year and will only pick 5 spots behind them. The Bulls are a fucking disgrace of a franchise.

The Bulls easily could have kept Butler and added Eric Bledsoe for the same shitty package the Bucks got him for (protected first and a second rounder). They could have gotten a guy like Rodney Hood basically for nothing.
Bledsoe/Butler/Hood/Mirotic/Lopez is a real lineup that (with a real coach) probably could have been a 3 seed this year and been a threat to go to the ECF with how weak the East has been due to injuries.
But at least they will get Mikal Bridges and win 32 games next year.

And they could’ve just stayed at #16 last year and drafted OG Anunoby, John Collins or Jarrett Allen, all of which look like they could be just as good as Lauri, if not better.

Bulls announced that Dunn and LaVine are done for the season.
So after tearing his ACL, LaVine played 24 games and shot 38% from the field (34% from 3) while playing atrocious defense. Restricted free agency should be interesting.

The Bulls had an 86-79 lead entering the fourth quarter before coach Fred Hoiberg decided to sit most of his regulars, possibly because it was really in the team's best interest to lose and hope to improve its draft position.
Kilpatrick, though, had other plans and took over the reigns of the offense, scoring 19 points in final 12 minutes to hold off Monk (16 in the fourth) and Charlotte.
lol
They can't even lose when they need to.

i thought for sure at this point in the season, the thunder would have figured it out by now, but they're still so consistently inconsistent.
in 6th place now, with 4th through 8th all possibilities with 3 games left (houston, miami, memphis). so frustrating...
