Should the Bulls trade Jimmy Butler for the #1 pick?
How poorly will Lonzo Ball's game translate to the NBA?
Will the Bulls win TWO DOZEN or THREE DOZEN games next year?

Seeing the Spurs at full strength against the Warriors would have been fun. Bummer that it won't happen.

LeBron looks unbelievable tonight. Great game so far, I just really hope it actually lasts for four quarters.

Cavs playing out of their minds is almost competitive with the Warriors.

Fuck him for leaving for a team that beat him when he was up 3-1 against in the WCF last year. Especially when they would have 2 of the top 5 players in the league again if he would of stayed. Sure win a title but super blemish

This argument was dumb when LeBron did it and it's dumb now.

Lebron didn't leave a team with another top 5 player on it for a team that he had up 3-1 in a conference finals like Durant did.
Durant leaving the Thunder for the Warriors isn't close to comparable to Lebron leaving that Cavs team for the Heat.
I get it "life choices" and such but it's a weak move leaving for the team that beat you last year when you had them dead to rights. Especially when a talent like Westbrook is sitting right there with you

I hate Durant for leaving to join the Warriors too and I've been a fan of his since he played college ball.
but instead of complain I might just stop watching basketball. It's so goddamn boring now. What's the point if you know whose going to win before the season even starts? the level of parity in Basketball is such a joke. now that they have Durant even Cleveland playing the best game they are going to play can't beat the Warriors

Did you know the Cavs were going to win last year? Did you know that LeBron was going to make the 2015 finals competitive after losing Kyrie and Love? Did you know that LeBron's Heat would lose in the Finals to the Mavs and to the Spurs?

The LeBron thing annoyed me more for how he did it than where he chose to go. This is how the NBA is set-up, and I'm not about the blame the players for doing what's best for them to get a title.

There are reports that OSU is trying to lure Hoiberg away from Chicago. I can't believe some asshole is trying to get my hopes up like this.

Did you know the Cavs were going to win last year? Did you know that LeBron was going to make the 2015 finals competitive after losing Kyrie and Love? Did you know that LeBron's Heat would lose in the Finals to the Mavs and to the Spurs? I mean we already had one of the best teams of all time and then they go and add a top 3 player. I much prefer an actually competitive league to just one team that dominates everyone. And now things are going exactly as expected when you do that, they haven't lost a single game in the playoffs. The team with the second best player in the game has only had one semi competitive game against them and still lost. Feel free to rub this in my face next year if something else happens (doubt it) but the Warriors are about to win the next few championships if they keep this team together. That just doesn't excite me at all.
And no I didn't see any of that happening but this new team is on a whole new level. You took a team already better than LeBron's heat and just added the only player that's been consistently as close to as good as LeBron over the past few years. Come back to me when something unexpected happens, not when they literally haven't lost a single playoff game

I'd probably feel worse about it if the Bulls had actually structured their roster to cater to Hoiberg's strength, but they haven't, so bring on the next white dude from Iowa.

Last night's game was super entertaining, if a bit disappointing in the result. The Warriors are the best team in the league by miles and deserve to win everything.
Competitive basketball that is of a lower quality makes absolutely zero sense. Go watch the Big 10 tournament again. Durant's decision was a bit disappointing, too, but ideally this elevates other teams to be able to compete with them.

i'm still bitter about durant leaving, but i think those of use here in okc had a little more invested in him ;–)
am curious to see if westbrook signs an extension next month to stay here. would make him the highest paid player in the nba, so there's that.
