According to the dudes I'm watching this game with at Caesars, I'm watching the game with Sheryl Swoopes' brothers and Steve Francis' cousin. They've bought at least one (1) drink for me so far.

Fun season.
I hope those LeBron to LA rumors aren't true.

In the end: they really did need KD. At the level LeBron & Kyrie were playing at, I think the Cavs beat the 2016 version of the Warriors again.
Unless LeBron really wants to go heavy into Hollywood, I don't think going to the Lakers gets him closer to a title again.

idk i feel like they gassed themselves trying to get the regular season win record last year and it seriously hurt them in the playoffs. i still think 2016 warriors would have won this year but obviously KD took them to being almost unbeaten.

I could see Lebron going to The Lakers if they are also able to land Paul George. I think it's more likely that he stays in Cleveland tho.

Oh man, Phil is really trying is best to fully nuke the Knicks. I can't believe any trade involving Kristaps would even be considered.
Also when asked why he would consider a trade, Jackson said: "Future."
So either he's getting a rapper back in a trade or he's a fucking moron.

Salary cap for next year is coming in at $99 mil ($119 mil luxury) which is $2 mil less than expected. Apparently the cause is "less playoff games than expected." Thanks Golden State.

Wonder what Boston is offering for KP. In talks but apparently not meeting New York's demands.
3rd pick + ??

I would imagine it has to be the 3rd pick, Jaylen Brown, and that future 1st they just got from the Sixers.

For a guy like that, I'd want both Brooklyn picks (one now being the 3rd pick this year), next year's sixers pick and Jaylen Brown.

apparently, the suns are willing to trade bledsoe, chris and the 4th pick, but the knicks want them to take noah's deal back too. not unsurprisingly, the suns stepped back.
anyway, tonight is one of my favorite nights to sit home and just watch tv. nba draft night is the best.

by the way, if the suns really would make that deal, i'd do it (even tho i love porzingis).
chris is going to be really good.
knicks could roll out bledsoe, monk, jackson, chris, and whoever in the middle (hernangomez for now), and be way more interesting next year than they've been for a while.

I would only do that Suns deal if they took the Noah contract. Porzingis is so fantastic that I would hate to trade him for two question marks. I like Monk and Chris too, but I think the chances of either guy even making an All-Star team are fairly slim.

Also solid point guards are a dime a dozen now, so I don't think the Knicks should target a PG as the "young veteran" portion of this deal.

That team would possibly have the worst record in the NBA (assuming Melo is not there), and none of those guys have great odds of becoming all-stars, especially not soon.

Lonzo Ball is going to be such a good fit for The Lakers I think he's the best player in the draft
